The Magical Polar Express Train Ride In Southern California Everyone Should Experience At Least Once

As Thanksgiving approaches, it’s time to start getting into the holiday spirit. What better way than with a North Pole Express train ride? Fillmore & Western Railway offers a fun, holiday-themed journey that’s perfect for the whole family.

Hop aboard a vintage train for the one hour North Pole Express train ride that will definitely put you in a Christmas mood.

The train departs from the Fillmore station at 351 Santa Clara Street.

The train is all dressed up for the holidays, inside and out.

North Pole Express trains run November 24th and 30th, and December 1st and 2nd, 7th, 8th, and 9th, and 14th through 23rd. Departure times at 4:45 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Santa’s elves are ready to make your journey fun with Christmas carols, stories, cookies and chocolate milk.

Wear your pajamas for the trip and you’ll be snuggly and warm for the entire ride.

The train stops at Santa’s Village in the park, where you can shop for gifts and ride the carousel.

Don’t forget your camera! Santa, the elves and the conductor are happy to be included in your memorable photos.

The railroad also offers two other holiday trains. The Sugar Plum Express Holiday Village and Tree Train journeys to the Christmas Tree Farm where you'll choose your holiday tree and enjoy wandering through the Holiday Village. The Return Santa To The North Pole Train offers a magical ride on December 26th only. Wear your pajamas, and enjoy storytelling, chocolate milk, and cookies.
