If traveling by air, the nearest major airport is Charleston International Airport (CHS). After landing at the airport, you can rent a car or take a taxi to Sullivan's Island, which is approximately 17 miles away.
Prefer to drive? Sullivan's Island is accessible by car via the Ben Sawyer Swing Bridge. The bridge connects the island to the mainland, and you can reach it by following SC-703 from Mount Pleasant. Please note that there may be tolls associated with crossing the bridge.
