This Just Might Be The Most Beautiful Hike In All Of South Carolina

Narrowing down all of the amazing hiking spots in South Carolina is clearly a subjective exercise. And there are so very many from which to choose, the task becomes even more difficult. However, if I had to choose which hike in the Palmetto State is more beautiful than all the others, I’d pick Table Rock State Park.

A 3.2 mile journey each way, the hike to the top of Table Rock in South Carolina is not only rewarding, but also offers much eye candy, a.k.a. points of interest, along the way. Take a look at these images from the trail and decide for yourself. This just might be the most beautiful hike in all of South Carolina.

Access to the this great South Carolina trail begins at Table Rock State Park at 158 E Ellison Ln, Pickens, SC 29671. Make your way to the Nature Center and follow the Carrick Creek trail and then bear right to the Table Rock Trail. The trail is accessible from March through October. Pets are allowed as long as you keep them on a leash.

Have you hiked this trail in South Carolina’s Upstate? We’d love to know in our comments.
