So, we found some statistics that help to rank Rhode Island’s cities based on the percentage of people at the poverty level and on the unemployment rate for each place. Does that mean the places and the people living in the places on this list are “bad?” No way. We love all of Rhode Island. Besides, just about everyone’s been a little down on their luck at some point in their lives. It doesn’t change who they are. It only changes the size of their bank account.
With that being said, in case you were wondering how your town stacks up against others, here are the 10 poorest places in Rhode Island.
Did your town or village make this list? Were you surprised the poorest cities in Rhode Island? We’d love to hear from you in our comments!
