Well, if you’ve ever wondered, ”What's the highest point in Rhode Island?” we’ve got the answer for you.
You will find this totally cool spot in the town of Foster.

If you're familiar with Rhode Island geography, you know that Foster is only a half a mile from the Connecticut border.
And that spot is Jerimoth Hill.

At just 812 feet, it is the highest elevation in Rhode Island. The hill was named after Jerimoth Brown, an early settler in the area.
Access to the trail leading to the summit is off of Route 101 and is marked by a sign on the road.

As you're driving along, look out for the small parking area next to the trailhead.

This spot was not accessible until 2005 due to a previous landowner that prohibited visitors. Today, we are lucky enough to be able to freely access Jerimoth Hill and take in all the surrounding natural beauty!
