The Oregon Vortex is a pretty amazing spot. Whether or not you understand (of believe) the science behind what happens here, it will leave you in awe of the weird phenomena you witness. It is hard to even describe unless you have see in yourself. This natural circular area of land exists in a way that plays with visual and perceptional expectations for how things work. People change height before your eyes! (or at least appear to) Brooms stand up by themselves! (that one we can’t explain). Slanted houses leave you confused about which way is up! The guide at The Oregon Vortex do a fantastic job at explaining what is going on here, and this trip will be one you remember forever. (Trust me on this…I visited this spot with my family nearly two decades ago, and we still bring it up from time to time!)
