Poole’s Diner

Originally opening in 1945 as Poole’s Pie Shop, the sweet shop became a Raleigh landmark and was recently reopened by Chef Ashley Christensen. Poole’s still consist of the classic diner aesthetic established by John Poole, but Christensen also decided to combine her own modern touches for a one-of-a-kind diner experience.

Lounge on the red leather banquettes, or order a drink at the double horseshoe bar. The chalkboard menus change daily depending on season and what’s available. Poole’s always sources the finest, local ingredients, to ensure your hearty, delicious diner meal is fresh and locally sourced. The combinations are simple yet unique and creative.
