Main Street Cafe

Nestled in the tiny town of Durham, with a population hovering around 100, is Main Street Cafe, which has been known across Kansas for its “Good Ole Country Cooking” for more than 17 years.

Owned and operated by Wendell and Linda Wedel, the cafe has become so popular not only among residents, but for those in surrounding communities that Wendell expanded the restaurant into the adjacent building to accommodate for the large crowds – especially for their Friday night buffet featuring German classics.

While the cafe offers a little bit of everything – from omelets and biscuits + gravy to honey glazed ham and fish fillet sandwiches – they specialize in a variety of homemade sausages and freshly baked, homemade pie.
