Lonohana Hawaiian Estate Chocolate

Planting their first cacao trees in 2009, the chocolate company now farms 14 acres of cacao by hand on Oahu’s north shore. The company harvests the fruit, ferments and dries the beans, and then handcraft batches of chocolate bars at their Honolulu factory.

This is a unique approach to chocolate and the company is involved with every step of the process – from seed, to tree, to bean, to bar. Due to their small size, chocolate batches are released just six times per year to members of the Lonohana Chocolate Club and at the factory.
