Bok Tower Gardens

These historic gardens, designed by landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted Jr., celebrate the beautiful natural foliage of Florida in a way that makes you feel like you have walked into a fairy tale. Filled with ferns and flowers, palms, oaks and pine trees, and some truly unbelievable views, Bok Tower Gardens creates a tranquil space to enjoy this unique ecosystem found nowhere else in the world! This space is home to more than 120 species of native birds and has become designated site on the Great Florida Birding Trail. The Gardens’ emphasis on preserving the natural habitat has made it an ideal protected space for threatened and endangered species, like the Gopher Tortoise and the Eastern Indigo Snake. Atop it all is the Singing Tower carillon—a 205 foot tall Art-Deco stylized tower—famous for it’s concerts featuring the 60(!) bells inside, played every day at 1:00pm and 3:00pm.
