But, don’t let her fickle ways stop you from planning an amazing adventure. This family-friendly adventure park near Pittsburgh, which boasts plenty of indoor and outdoor activities, is an ideal spot for a day away.

Significant snow might not be in our forecast this spring but, when it is, plan a trip to Wildwood Highlands, a family-friendly adventure park with loads to do all year around. (Snow tubing, of course, is popular in the winter.)

Enjoy an action-packed day indoors. An assortment of interactive and arcade games are scattered throughout the park.

Thrills - and maybe even a spinning head - await on the indoor bumper cars. Just how many of the other cars can you bump into as the lights dance above you?

Or, try your skills at laser tag. Laser Xtreme challenges visitors during the nearly 20 minute game.

Then, you might want to slow things down just a bit. How does a game of bowling sound right about now?

Outdoor activities are also abundant. On those days when the weather cooperates, buckle up for a ride on the go karts.

Or, get wet as you maneuver your bumper boats around the shimmering water. Miniature golf is also popular

The adventure park also holds a variety of events throughout the year, such as the annual Easter Egg Hunt and the New Year's Eve celebration.

Plan a visit to Wildwood Highland, which is currently operating on its Labor Day to Memorial Day schedule. The adventure park is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
