9 Things Philadelphians Do That Seem Insane To Everyone Else
Philadelphia is a quirky city, but we love our way of living. I guess some things we do could be considered insane to everyone else, but to us, they’re hallmarks of being a Philadelphian. Check out some particularly strange habits of Philadelphians, and see if you agree that there’s nothing weird about our lifestyle.
From a young age, we love hanging out on our neighborhood stoops, talking to passersby, and keeping an eye on the neighbors.
A bunch of South Philly dudes dressing up in bright, colorful clothing, hats, and makeup, parading around early on January 1st... what's so weird about that?
Who knows where pretzels come from? They just appear... and we're okay with that.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results... AKA, being a Sixers fan.
This is a real love-hate thing... you either really, really love it or you won't touch it with a ten foot pole.
As my cousin said when it was brought up over Thanksgiving dinner - "We had to take it out on somebody!"
Yeah, we'll park on the median or the sidewalk, but we don't see anything wrong with that.
There's no better breakfast than dozens and dozens of super hot wings at Wing Bowl!
Fries, tots, cheesesteak - we'll put whiz on whatever food that's in front of us.
