10 Places In Pennsylvania That Make The Best Sandwiches EVER
Pennsylvania is home to some of the best sandwiches in the world. We have the hotly contested Philadelphia cheesesteak, for which there is no authoritative “best” shop– you’re going to have to try out Pat’s, Geno’s, and the other local cheesesteak shops to decide for yourself. Then, we have the famous Primanti Bro’s sandwiches that include the french fries right on the sandwich. Radical. Beyond those two landmark sandwich making pieces of history, we have tons and tons of wonderful sub shops. Read on to discover some of the best.

The classic Primanti Brothers goes without saying. With so many locations throughout Pennsylvania, it may be easy to forget that it originated in Pittsburgh. Go here to enjoy french fries on a delicious sandwich.

Look, cheesesteaks are a contentious issue in the Philadelphia area. I'm choosing the safe route, and not telling you which shop has the best ones. You're going to have to visit them to decide for yourself. Enjoy Pat's or...

...go across the street from Pat's to find Geno's. People drive from all over the state just for these cheesesteaks. It's a must-visit!

A lesser-known, but equally good (the best, in my opinion), location for the famous Philly cheesesteak is Jim's. Just be sure you know how to order when you get there... One whiz with!

Visit Mazzanti's to get the best Italian hoagie that you will ever devour!

With four locations throughout Pittsburgh, Peppi's is a must-visit. Be sure to try the roethliburger, a massive sandwich with sausage, burger, egg, and American cheese.

You won't regret indulging in these sumptuous sandwiches.

If you're in the mood for a good, solid, simple sub, then Screpesi's is the place for you.

At Wally's, "home of the hog," be prepared to eat like one. An establishment in the Lehigh Valley for 24 years, their food is both hearty and delicious.

Lou's has been in Norristown since 1941! Enjoy a piece of local history along with your sandwich.
