There’s An Oregon Highway Covered In Slime And It’s Like Something Out Of A Horror Movie

An Oregon highway was covered in a sea of slime and wriggling creatures on Thursday after an eel truck tipped over.

Though the accident did not result in any injuries, Highway 101 was reduced to one lane as a thick, slimy goo spread across the road. Live eels were seen writhing and curling on top of cars and in ditches by the side of the highway.

Some vehicles were completely engulfed by the slime, transforming the stretch of road into a scene from a horror movie. The Oregon State Police reported that the eels were on their way to Korea for consumption. The eels apparently produce this thick slime when they are agitated.

Both lanes are now open and the highway is free from goo. However, some residents are reporting that the fishy smell has yet to completely dissipate.
