Located in Ashland, the Fairy Ponds are absolutely enchanting. This lovely hidden gem is tucked into the woods along the beautiful Ashland Creek, and it’s a wonderful place to relax in a peaceful setting.

The Fairy Ponds are a wonderful local secret located along Ashland Creek. Stumbling upon this place is just as magical as its name implies.

Following the short trail to the Fairy Ponds, you'll find a beautiful section of the creek where the crystal-clear water flows into numerous shallow pools before continuing downstream.

Wade into the water or simply relax in this tranquil setting, listening to the trickling of the creek and birds chirping in the trees.

This place is especially magical in the summer months when you can take a dip in the clear, glittering pools.

To get there, take Winburn Way past Lithia Park to Granite Street. Turn right and continue until you reach the trailhead. The trail will lead you past a clearing and along the creek past numerous small "ponds". Take some time to explore this lovely place.

When you leave the creek, simply head back the way you came. You may also want to stop by Lithia Park for a bit more exploring. (This photo was taken at the Lithia Park Japanese Garden.)
