This Is What Oregon Looked Like 100 Years Ago… It May Surprise You
Have you ever wondered what Oregon looked like 100 years ago? Needless to say, back then it was a very different place. Luckily, the advent of cameras made it so that we are able to look back in time at what our world was like all those years ago. How people dressed, the cars they drove, city streets, and everyday life. For today’s article, I found some incredible old photographs – most of them taken exactly 100 years ago, in 1915 – for those of you interested in great artifacts from Oregon’s past.
It really makes you wonder, what will Oregon look like in another 100 years?

The Kennedy School in Portland, 1915. Now, this awesome building is owned by McMenamins and the rooms have been remodeled into hotel rooms, a movie theater, multiple bars, a restaurant, a pool, and a brewery.
