Bars are a dime a dozen in Oklahoma, but there’s one unique one in Oklahoma City that’s worth a visit. The Pump Bar is located in a former gas station from the 1920s and features a large outdoor patio with fire pits. But don’t let the fact that it’s a bar fool you into thinking the food is average; they have an incredible selection of delicious food. Check it out:
The Pump Bar opened in 2014 in an old Texaco filling station at 2425 North Walker Avenue in Oklahoma City.
The station was built in 1929 and was nicknamed "Elmer's Texaco." It thrived as a local hub for many years until it closed its doors in 1978. It remained closed for over three decades, until it reopened as The Pump Bar.
Outside the bar you'll find a sprawling patio with over 9,000 sq. ft of space. They have gas fire pits, televisions, cornhole, covered tables, and more.
On top of the great outdoor space, there is a fantastic indoor bar filled with tables, flatscreens, music, and more. Please note: all guests must be 21 years of age and older to enter The Pump Bar.
Choose from a variety of drink options. From local and specialty beers on tap to specialty cocktails, you'll be pleasantly surprised with all the delicious drinks. Take a look at the Blueberry Smash Pie that consists of whipped cream, vodka, blueberries and cream.
They even have brunch specials on the weekends. Featured below is the Hangover Hash - fried potatoes with corned beef, sauerkraut, onions, red peppers, and two fried eggs.
