What are some other sledding hills in Ohio?

Because Cleveland gets more snow than some of the more southern cities in Ohio, we're going to stick with sledding hills in Cleveland for this question:

  • Big Met Golf Course - Rocky River Reservation. Rocky River is actually a superb place to go sledding! There are notable hills at Big Met, Little Met, and Mastick Woods Golf Course. Just be sure to bundle up, because this rolling landscape can feel a bit windy. If you do decide to pay Big Met Golf Course a visit, swing by Tee #11 to experience a gentler slope that's great for kids. Nearby fireplaces await the opportunity to defrost you and your companions.
  • Thornton Park Sledding Hill - Shaker Heights. Located on Farnsleigh Road just east of Warrensville Center Road, Thornton Park boasts a little cluster of sledding hills that is perfect for families with children of varying ages. A petite hill is perfect for younger children, and while you're at the park, consider bringing your ice skates (or some cash to rent a pair) to swing by the Ice Arena, and enjoy some of the best ice skating near Cleveland.
