Cleveland is a city of many wonders, and its citizens have taken a great interest in preservation. Its museums and institutions stand out thanks to their gleaming collections, but one such destination differs from the rest. All ages will be delighted by the mystical wonders that make their home in this glass building.
The Cleveland Botanical Garden is located at 11030 East Boulevard, Cleveland.
A variety of tropical plants and animals make their home in this paradise. Birds, lizards, and one other animal in particular captivate visitors.

Once you step in Costa Rica's Rainforest, you will be surrounded by verdant plant life, the sweet sounds of flowing water, and an array of spectacular butterflies.
In the Glasshouse, you will find yourself transported to the spiny desert of Madagascar and the lush rainforest of Costa Rica. 50 different species of butterflies flit through the air, and they occasionally stop by onlookers to perch on one of 350 species of exotic plants.
The butterflies enjoy a four-week lifespan in the indoor rainforest, comparable to the lifespans of wild butterflies, but with far fewer natural threats.
Each day at 2 p.m., butterflies are released, much to the pleasure of captivated visitors.
The butterflies pollinate the plants of this indoor getaway, which in turn fulfills the mission of the Botanical Garden. The research center exists to help them study and understand the tropical plants within its boundaries, and to understand their relationship to both the natural world and humans alike.
