The station, located about an hour northwest of Cincinnati, has maintained its original nostalgia and the passionate people behind the railroad make every riding experience a memorable one.
They offer several popular rides during the year, including the Polar Express and A Day Out With Thomas, but they also offer an exciting Twilight Limited Train To Dinner ride that is fun for everyone.

The Train to Dinner ride departs the Connersville Station at 6 p.m. on the first and third Fridays, running from July through October, and travels to the Laurel Hotel. While the rides don't begin for a few more months, some do sell out quickly, so it's best to plan ahead.
Once the train leaves the station, you'll enjoy a comfortable ride with beautiful scenery.

Since the beginning of the ride is still in daylight, you'll be able to take in all the sights. The train then stops at the historic Laurel Hotel in the small town of Laurel, Indiana. As you can see from the map above, it's just a few steps from the train to reach the restaurant.

This process saves time at the restaurant, allowing you to enjoy the whole experience and relax in the moment. The food at the Laurel Hotel is delicious; we highly recommend the fried chicken!
