Walleye fishing is a pretty big thing in North Dakota. Many of the state’s lakes are teeming with the fish. It even has a town, Garrison, that claims to be the walleye capital with a rather large walleye statue to commemorate it. In addition to fishing for it, North Dakotans love to eat it. Whether it be breaded and fried or baked and sat atop a bed of wild rice, people here will always enjoy it.

Luckily for North Dakotans, there are plenty of restaurants serving it in the most delicious of ways. One restaurant chain only found in this state has some of the best – possibly in the world – and you must try it.
