One of our favorite streets to stroll through, the small town earned its quirky name as New York's Painted Village in the Sky because of the fact that you'll find the majority of the buildings in town painted in electrifying colors with head-turning details.

Quite possibly the very definition of charming, that Catskill Mountain Country Store in Tannersville (not to be confused with its other location in Windham) is one delectable place to visit. Those who come here can take their time to shop around the wonderful general store and then sit down to check out what their fantastic menu is all about.
