It seems that everywhere you look, there’s a new spot to dine, and while they’re all worthy of pulling up a seat, this one gets the award for being the most unique in the city. This new restaurant in Buffalo is the first of its kind and you’ll want to visit. Immediately.
Root + Bloom Cafe & Market is Buffalo's first plant-based restaurant.
Check it out Thursday - Saturday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM for dinner, but definitely set your alarm for Saturday breakfast from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM or Sunday brunch from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

As of now, Root + Bloom is a seasonal restaurant, but they're hoping to change that soon!
As the first restaurant of its kind in Buffalo, Root + Bloom is wisely testing the waters with this space on Elmwood Avenue. If the reception is positive - and we're pretty certain it's impossible not to love this place - they plan to open a year-round vegan destination.
There's something for everyone at this unique restaurant. They even offer a kids menu so your little ones can get a taste of delicious, healthy dishes!
This first-of-its-kind restaurant seriously knows its market, which is why they occasionally expand on their menu to try something different.
"UPROOTed" nights at Root + Bloom feature more mainstream dishes with a few exceptions to the vegan rule. Stay tuned for the next UPROOTED event for street food favorites like cheesesteak, wings, chicken & waffles, and more!
If you ever thought vegan and plant-based food couldn't be delicious, Root + Bloom is out to prove you wrong. Every item on their menu is amazingly flavorful. But don't fill up too much on your meal, because the milkshakes and dessert options are out-of-this-world good!
