It’s wonderful being a Buffalonian – until it’s not. While life in the Queen City certainly has its perks, we’d be lying if we said it was always a walk in Delaware Park. Here are 9 undeniable pros and cons about being a Buffalonian.
1. Pro: We get to experience all four seasons.
Winter, spring, summer, and fall – they all make their presence known in Buffalo!
2. Con: We have to experience all four seasons.
While mostly beautiful, we definitely have a love-hate relationship with one of them. Particularly when it overstays its welcome!
3. Pro: Our fans are loyal and know how to party.
In Buffalo, we bleed blue and red (and blue and gold). We stick by our teams through thick and thin... and sometimes take our celebrations to the extreme!
4. Con: Our teams don't often deliver on playoff promises.
It's a sad fact you come to expect while being a Buffalonian.
5. Pro: Our waterfront is beautiful.
We're lucky to be nestled along the shores of Lake Erie. The beauty of our waterfront is something we don't take for granted!
6. Con: The waterfront hasn't quite reached its full potential.
We still have a bit of building up left to do!
7. Pro: Our city smells like Cheerios.
Nothing beats driving into Buffalo and taking a whiff of the sweet smell of Cheerios from the General Mills factory!
8. Con: We're ridiculously spoiled when it comes to food.
Being a Buffalonian means you will forever turn up your nose at other places' "wings." Our amazing food in Buffalo makes everything else seem sub-par.
9. Pro: Buffalove is the real deal.
Let's end on a high note! Buffalove is real and it takes over the heart of Buffalonians near and far. There's nothing quite like the 716!
