The doctor who once lived near the cemetery is thought to have performed illegal abortions, and those who perished from the surgeries were laid to rest here. Cold Springs Cemetery is thought to be haunted by a girl who was murdered here while hitchhiking. Many people have reported stories of feeling a strange presence or hearing voices while even driving past this cemetery.
