This road trip will give you the best Buffalo beach day you’ve ever had.

Woodlawn Beach is located in Blasdell, roughly 15 minutes from the City of Buffalo. (A bit more if you have to meander around Skyway construction.) Set your GPS and get ready to start the best beach day ever! The address is 3580 Lake Shore Rd., Blasdell.

Once you've gotten ample morning rays, refuel with a delicious lunch at Hoak's Lakeshore Restaurant. You can opt to sit outdoors for even more fresh air, but the best part? It's only three minutes from Woodlawn Beach, greatly reducing your risk for getting hangry!

Since you'll already be within steps to the beach, sit back and enjoy the sunset at Sunset Bay, USA. This is one of our favorite places to feel like you're getting away from it all near Buffalo. The sunsets over Lake Erie cannot be beaten from the beach!
If you aren't quite ready for your beach day to be over, stop at Canalside once you're back in Buffalo! This destination isn't necessarily beachy, but you will see some more great sights from the waterfront. The light show on the grain silos makes for the perfect ending to the best beach day ever!
