Henderson will host its annual WinterFest celebration at the Henderson Events Plaza and Henderson Convention Center on December 10-12. This family-friendly event will feature a variety of activities, some of which include an official tree lighting ceremony with Santa Claus, gingerbread house displays, roaming performances and an evening light parade. 7. Mount Charleston - Clark County
With an elevation of 11,916 ft, Mount Charleston is the highest mountain in both the Spring Mountains and Clark County. This beautiful mountain is a great location for an afternoon hike during the winter season.
8. Reno Santa Pub Crawl - Downtown Reno
On Saturday, December 12, 2015 (7:30pm-1:00am), thousands of Santas will gather in downtown Reno to enjoy good spirits and yule-tide cheer. More than 15,000 holiday-clad revelers are expected to attend this year's festivity. Because so many people are expected to attend, additional bars will be added. The best thing about this event is that all the proceeds are used to benefit local schools. Keep in mind, you MUST be 21 years old to attend. If you try to sneak in, Santa will most likely put you on the naughty list. Most importantly, have fun, be careful and Merry Christmas!
