However, if we had to choose some of our favorite parks in Nevada that are also absolutely gorgeous, Spring Valley State Park would be at the top of the list. This state park not only offers some of the most incredible views but it has an interesting history as well.
Valley of Fire is one of the largest and oldest state parks in Nevada, and certainly one of the most beautiful. Valley of Fire State Park features red sandstone rock formations, which look as if they are on fire. Bring your hiking shoes, a camera, and your adventurous spirit as there is much to see and do at this state park.
Cave Lake State Park is another park that you’ll want to add to your list. This state park near Ely is the perfect location regardless of the weather. During the winter, Cave Lake State Park is an excellent location for ice skating and cross-country skiing. During the summer, lace up your hiking boots and go for a hike or grab your fishing pole and catch a fish or two.
