Angel’s Ladies Brothel, located in Beatty, is probably best-known for its crashed plane marking its entrance. The brothel was purchased in 1997 by Mac Moore—a retired undertaker—and his wife Angel—for whom the brothel is named. Moore originally bought the property because of its 77-acre garden and spring-fed pool. The brothel itself was an afterthought and began with nine prostitutes who worked out of the famous pink trailer. Business blossomed and nearly 3,000 people were “serviced” at the brothel each year until it closed in August 2014. This abandoned brothel is best known for the plane crash near the front sign.

The abandoned Angel’s Ladies Brothel in Beatty is more of a backdrop to the incredible plane wreckage that has “decorated” the property since 1978. Even though the brothel itself has been closed since 2014, visitors flock to the area to see the plane (and to add their own graffiti to it.) Have you visited this Nevada landmark?
