During your stay you'll enjoy some quiet time in one of two tiny houses. The tiny house experience is worth the visit in itself.
These mini abodes pack a whole lot of living space and a whole lot of personality into a minimal footprint. Each house has a queen bed and a sofa bed, sleeping a total of three guests.
These little buildings are beyond cozy. The quarters are close, but very inviting. You'll need to be fit enough to climb a ladder or navigate a narrow set of stairs to reach the bed in either house.
The tiny houses are located on a part of the property removed from the main house by quite a distance. You can decide whether you want to interact with your hosts; if not, you can simply relax and enjoy the seclusion and the sounds of nature.
You won't find TVs or wifi here, and getting a cell phone signal is hit or miss. When this workaholic writer stayed there last summer, it was a welcome reprieve from technology and a chance to unwind. Just walking around the property, listening to the wind in the trees and the chatter of the animals is a special treat.
You won't exactly be camping, though. The tiny houses have air conditioning, heating, indoor plumbing (including showers), and fridges. One of them includes a small one-burner electric stove.

One of the most memorable parts of your stay will be the goats. Willow Valley Farms has the world's largest herd of critically endangered San Clemente Island goats.
