But this fried chicken at a campground just might top them all. koa.com Butte’s KOA Campground is located halfway between Glacier National Park and Yellowstone, and it provides a restful stop for campers on their way to either park. Visitors who stay here can also see all Butte has to offer by hopping on the Old No. 1 trolley car that boards at the Chamber of Commerce. The campground itself has great amenities like firewood, propane, WiFi and a seasonal pool. koa.com But it’s the tiny shop next to the office called the Chicken Shack that makes this campground truly amazing. For years, locals and visitors alike have stopped here solely for their fried chicken fix.
