Many a passenger taking this road at night has claimed to have seen the ghost of a Native American man walking along the side. One woman was leaving Great Falls one night when she saw someone in the road and then heard a Thump. Thinking she had hit someone, she parked her car and rushed out... but no one was there. When she resumed driving, she looked in her rearview mirror and saw the man again.

One woman noticed the cowboy when she was in her truck with her husband, who was driving through the snow to get supplies before the storm got worse. She asked her husband to slow down so they wouldn't hit the cowboy walking along the road.... but it was a cowboy her husband couldn't see. When she looked in her rearview mirror, he was gone. This stretch of land seems to be a hub for paranormal activity of all kinds. Not only have ghosts been spotted here, but lots of people have reported seeing UFOs and strange "little people" that don't appear to be human. Yikes!
