You’ll Never Forget Your Stay In This Enchanting Hobbit House In Montana
Are you an adventurous traveler? Do you prefer unique accommodations to a standard hotel room? And most importantly, are you a fan of Lord of the Rings or hobbits in general? If you answered yes to any of those questions, you’ll love your stay at Montana’s one-of-a-kind hobbit house.
The Shire of Montana is located just outside of Trout Creek.
It is the work of long-time Lord of the Rings fan Steve Michaels and his wife Christine.
Steven and Christine spared no expense when they created this shire.
The Shire of Montana is small, but it’s luxurious.
Inside you’ll find a full kitchen with modern appliances and granite countertops, a large bedroom with a king-sized bed, and a smaller bedroom with a twin bed. The kitchen is full of all the appliances and dishware you’ll need.
You can relax in the living room watching the Lord of the Rings…
... or play a game with your shire-mate at the handmade wood table.
The outdoor area is decorated too.
Walk around the property and you’ll see tiny fairy houses, tiny villages, and possibly some wildlife.
The Shire of Montana has been rated one of the 10 best movie themed hotels in the world.
Children under 12 are not allowed to stay at the Hobbit House. Since Steven and Christine designed it with adults in mind, the house isn’t childproof and there are a lot of things that could easily get broken. So this place is only for kids at heart.
Would you stay at the Shire of Montana? How about one of these other unique accommodations?
