A School In Missouri Just Gave Homecoming Queen To The Most Unique Girl

Oak Park High School in Kansas City just elected Landon Patterson this year’s Homecoming Queen. The teen, born a boy, but identifying as a female as long as she can remember, completely transitioned from male to female earlier this year. She is the first transgender student to be elected the title. Like many young girls, Landon had dreamed of being queen since her freshman year, and the love and support she received was beyond her wildest dreams. In her words, “I feel like a princess!”

We have seen a lot of signs of changing times in Hollywood and New York, but it may not be as common in the flyover state of Missouri, so opinions may vary on this topic. What do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
