Kansas City is full of all sorts of people, but some things are just too easy to point out. For instance, we all know about Fountain Day in the spring, and that sometimes we’re called the Paris of the Plains for one reason or another. Some of us don’t like sports, but for the most part, Kansas Citians all unite for big wins, and it’s hard to find anyone willing to pass up great food. However… there are some people who just might be an imposter posing as a true Kansas Citian. Do you think you know any?

1. They don't own any Chiefs, Royals, or Sporting KC gear.

2. They're not prepared for an impromptu shower or flurry.

As any true KC native knows, the weather can change at any time. Bringing a jacket and/or umbrella in your car is standard.

8. They flock to Worlds of/Oceans of Fun.

9. Their favorite bbq is Memphis or Texas.

Field trips at these places were a staple for all Kansas City kids, and even if you moved here after school, odds are that you've visited at least once.
