Luckily, most of these unique winter festivals take place after Thanksgiving, so you can enjoy that special family holiday before caroling away under the Christmas lights. Here are just a few of my favorite winter festivals in Missouri.
Stroll through downtown Warrensburg from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 3rd and enjoy include horse and wagon rides, carolers, live music, chestnut roasting on an open fire, a tree lighting ceremony and much more.

Known as one of the best holiday festivals in the Midwest, Old Christmas Time at Silver Dollar City boasts one of the best holiday parades, extravagant light displays, visits with Santa and more. It takes place November 5th to December 30th.
