It was born here, thanks to Adolphus Busch. Even if you don’t like beer, you love Budweiser.
5. Missouri’s Ever-Changing Weather
65 degrees and sunny one minute on the golf course...a major storm brewing the next. You may as well love it, because it’s reality.
6. Provel Cheese
Because you know that pizza made with anything else is just inferior.
Missouri does it best.
8. Flying Dinner Rolls
Lambert’s Cafe is famous for its delicious rolls...and its delivery method. They really do throw ‘em at you!
9. Float Trips
One of the best things to do during a Missouri summer.
10. Mark Twain
When the world’s best writer is from your home state, you can’t help but love him.
When you’re playing in the back yard, do you stir up a rousing game of croquet? No! You drag out the cornhole!
Even if we didn’t attend, we love our University of Missouri.
13. Butter Cake
It was accidentally invented in St. Louis. Now we can’t imagine dessert without it.
14. Giant Shuttlecocks
These amazing outdoor sculptures at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City are instantly recognizable as Missouri icons.
15. Playing on Missouri’s Lakes
California has nothing on us - we have 200 more miles of shoreline that than coastal state! Our lakes are incredible recreation spots.
