Rivalries have existed for as long as time can tell. Vampires vs. werewolves. Magic Johnson vs. Larry Bird. Tupac vs. Biggie. The list goes on and on, but the Missouri vs. Kansas rivalry is one that will always live on.
But now it’s time to debunk any myth that claims Kansas is the best. So here are 10 things that Missouri does way better than Kansas.

Missouri is home to 2 MLB teams, 2 NFL teams, 1 NHL team, 1 MLS and 1 WSL team. Kansas, what do you have besides your precious Jayhawks?

The Flint Hills are pretty beautiful, but nothing can beat the Ozarks in Missouri. Plus, we have the crystal clear waters of the Current River that run for miles. Kansas just can't compete.

Missouri is home to two major cities, Kansas City and St. Louis, both unique in their own way. All Kansas has to offer is Topeka and Wichita and those are two cities most people would be okay with flying over.

Taxes are higher and gas is more expensive in Kansas. You'd think the higher taxes would result in a better state, but that's just not the case.
With two major cities, Missouri tends to be a common stop amongst big name music artists. We also have unbelievable music venues like the Sprint Center and America's Center for those sold-out tour shows. Our small music venues like The Midland Theater and The Pageant are perfect if you're looking for cheap standing room only concert tickets.

Current River, Elk River, Black River. If it's a river, we've floated on it. Kansas has some decent lakes, but nothing like our glorious long rivers.
With outstanding art museums like the Saint Louis Art Museum, The Nelson-Atkins and Kaufmann, it's no wonder that we surpass Kansas when it comes to the arts.
Kansas is not home to provel cheese, therefore Missouri's pizza is far superior.
