In order to come to this conclusion, the website analyzed data, such as unemployment rates, median income, education, short commute times, and low crime, as it pertained to the state’s 70 most populated cities. After crunching the numbers, Madison landed the number one spot on the website’s “Best Places to Live in Mississippi” list. This ranking, paired with the fact that Madison’s population has increased by over 30% in the last five years, prompted us to take a closer look at the city.
