And that’s because the quirky roadside stop, Margaret’s Grocery, sits abandoned and is quickly deteriorating. Read on to learn about this one-of-a-kind site before it’s gone forever.

Owned by Reverend Dennis and his wife Margaret, it started off as a standard grocery. However, in the 1980s, the Reverend set out to transform it into a "palace."

Reverend Dennis began to decorate and renovate. He even did all the brickwork, drawing on his experience as a bricklayer in WWII.
