The amazing-ness of Mississippi is definitely not lost on us locals. From the friendly people to the mouthwatering food, we are fully aware of what a gem of a state Mississippi is. A lot of outsiders are unaware of this fact, which is quite alright because the last thing we need is a ton of people swarming to our state. As the Hospitality State, we’ll always be friendly towards visitors, but that doesn’t mean we want them to start calling Mississippi home. 1. You can forget experiencing a “white Christmas.”
