Everyone Needs To Camp In This National Park Only Accessible By Water In Minnesota

Minnesota is home to unique and beautiful scenery, and one of our favorite features is our national park in the North. Voyageurs National Park is unlike any other in that its camp sites and interior are accessible only by water. This park provides one of the only remaining true wilderness experiences, where you can enjoy the beauty of America’s land without human interference.

The National Park Service is turning 100 on August 25, 2016 and this centennial year is the perfect time to explore all of the gorgeous national park sites that Minnesota has to offer. Voyageurs is definitely our most well known, and has its unique draws, but don’t forget about the Mississippi National River & Recreation Area, the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, Pipestone National Monument, and Grand Portage National Monument.
