1. Thea's Pumpkin Patch, Pelican Rapids
Thea's Pumpkin Patch also has hayrides, animals, and a corn maze. It's open 10-6 daily.
2. Waldoch Farm, Lino Lakes
Waldoch Farm has been growing pumpkins for four generations - so they know how to grow the perfect pumpkin. Bonus: weekend visitors get to take a free hayride to the patch. They're open 10-7 every day until Halloween.
3. Pinehaven Farm, Wyoming
Pinehaven was named Minnesota's best pumpkin patch by WCCO viewers. Besides the pick-your-own pumpkin patch, this farm has tons to do: a hayride, a petting zoo, a giant slide, and more. They grow 25 acres of pumpkins, so you're sure to find a good one. Pinehaven is open until October 31.
4. Simek's Farm, Cotton
Simek's is a super cute farm with plenty to do in the fall. Pick out your jack-o'-lantern pumpkin 1-5 every Saturday and Sunday until October 23.
5. Lendt's Pumpkin Patch
Open 9 to dusk every day until Halloween, Lendt's is where you should go if you want a giant pumpkin. The size depends on the year, but they're sure to be bigger than your average gourd.
6. Buffalo River Pumpkin Patch, Glyndon
This northern Minnesota patch is open Friday 3-6 and Saturday and Sunday 10-6. As an added bonus, they have horse-drawn wagon rides through a forest for only $3.
7. Farmer John's Pumpkin Patch, Austin
If you're in southern Minnesota, it might be easier for you to go to Farmer John's Pumpkin Patch. This quaint farm has been growing pumpkins since 1988. Admission is free - just pay for your pumpkin.
8. Tweite's Family Farm, Byron
Tweite's is a huge farm with tons to do: a corn maze, a food court, games, and their huge pumpkin patch. The farm is open every weekend until October 23.
9. Anoka County Farms, Ham Lake
In addition to pumpkins, this family-owned farm has corn, potatoes, onions, straw bales, squash, and gourds. After you choose your pumpkin, there are plenty more fall activities to enjoy. Visit until October 31.
10. Nelson Farms, Litchfield
The Pumpkin Patch Festival at Nelson Farm has been a local tradition for 26 years. Every day at 2:30, they use their trebuchet to fling a pumpkin into the air. Visit Saturdays and Sundays until 5.
11. Center Creek Orchard, Fairmont
After you choose your pumpkin, maybe you'll want to go through the 10,000-square-foot corn maze or try your hand at apple slinging. Center Creek is open 10-6 on Saturdays and Sundays through October.
12. Afton Apple Orchard, Hastings
Afton isn't just an apple orchard - they also have a pumpkin patch each year. Grab an assortment from mini to huge to make your porch look awesome this fall. Afton Apple Orchard is open to pumpkin seekers starting October 1. They're open 10-1 daily.
