Minnesota isn’t exactly known for its Mexican food. And if there are notable restaurants, many expect them to be in the Twin Cities, where it’s easier to find different types of cuisine. But there’s one town in Minnesota that has quite a few Mexican restaurants to choose from. Check it out:

Austin is a town of about 20,000 people located 100 miles south of Minneapolis.

Their downtown area is full of local shops that make it a nice place to visit while you're passing through.

There are also many lovely scenic spots in the area. The Jay C. Hormel Nature Center is peaceful, and there are several trails through the area.

As for food, Austin's main claim to fame is Spam. There is even a Spam museum that offers an interesting history of the product.

But the town is home to several tasty Mexican restaurants. One, Tienda Y Taqueria Guerrero, is within walking distance to the Spam Museum.
