Aaron’s, Inc conquered this fun feat with 1,200 participants at the National Harbor on March 22, 2016. The fact that they completed this on the first try is truly epic.

2. Largest Crab Cake

Handy International Incorporated created a whopping 300 pound crab cake made entirely out of Maryland blue crab meat. They vanquished this record on September 1, 2012.
3. Largest Bowl of Applesauce

The largest bowl of applesauce was produced at the Baltimore Running Festival on September 12, 2013. It weighed a massive 716 pounds.
4. Fastest Marathon in a Superhero Costume

Michael Wardian completed the Lower Potomac Marathon in Piney Point while wearing a full Spiderman costume. His time was 2 hours and 34 minutes - the fastest known time of anyone dressed as a crime fighting superhero.

5. Most Mousetraps Released on the Tongue

Casey Severn set off a total of 53 mousetraps on his tongue at the Maryland Renaissance Festival in 2015. The crowd cheered him on as he beat the record, followed by a humorous attempt to talk afterwards.
6. Longest Candy Necklace

Koko's Confectionery & Novelty successfully made the world's longest candy necklace in Cockeysville on December 17, 2014. It measured a little over 5,361 feet in length!

The bloodiest day in American history occurred at Antietam Battlefield in Sharpsburg on September 17, 1862. Over 23,000 soldiers were killed, injured, or missing.
10. Fastest Marathon While Pushing a Pram

Michael Wardian (the same man from #4 on this list) completed a marathon in Frederick on May 6, 2007. He was pushing his 9-month-old son in a pram for the entire 26 miles, and crossed the finish line at 2 hours and 42 minutes.

11. Largest Curve in a Sword Swallowed

Dai Andrews swallowed a sword at the Blue Thunder Festival in Baltimore on September 12, 2009. The sword had a curvature of 120 degrees. The above video may make your throat scratchy.
