The following spot is only a half hour from Baltimore so if you crave a scenic and delicious day away from the city, then look no further. Once you visit Boordy Vineyards, you’ll likely want to return again and again.

For a day trip filled with delicious wine and sprawling sights, head to Boordy Vineyards in Hydes, Maryland.

This beautiful place is among the most impressive vineyards in the state. With rustic buildings and gorgeous grounds, this spot looks like it's straight out of a postcard.

Boordy Vineyards is open to visitors year-round. When the weather is chilly, hang out inside the twinkling Boordy Barn and tasting room.

And during warmer months, bring a blanket, chairs, and get cozy on the lawn. Enjoy live music while you sip away on the variety of wines.

Vineyard tours are also available, where you'll learn about the wine making process. This includes a stroll around the vineyards...
