Like most of the country, Baltimore has changed an immense amount over the last century. Sometimes we forget just how much but the following video can give us a fascinating glimpse into the past.

The below footage focuses on 911 rescues from the year 1949 through 1958, from burning rowhomes to water main breaks and everything in between. Notice how different the vehicles are, both cars and fire engines. Even though some of the businesses shown are long gone, there are some spots around the city you may still recognize.
