What Real Life Looks Like Inside The Snowiest Town In Maine
Just when we thought spring was close, this week’s latest snow storm reminds us that we’re not out of the woods yet! Most of Maine was battered by this most recent nor’easter, but there are some parts of Maine that got hit especially hard. While you’re all shoveling your way to freedom, remind yourself that there are some parts of the state that are dealing with a winter that most of us could never imagine! Caribou might just be the snowiest town in all of Maine and today’s article is dedicated to the good folks who live there year-round! We applaud your strength!

But that's okay with us. It just means that this very snowy town can be kept a little bit of a secret.

The previous record was 120 consecutive days with at least a foot of snow on the ground. This was measured during the winter of 1968-1969.

A foot of snow on the ground in April?! Welcome to Caribou!
