The Hidden Park That Will Make You Feel Like You’ve Discovered Maine’s Best Kept Secret

Maine has so many ways to enjoy the outdoors but, with so many options, choosing can be hard. Adding to that difficulty is that many beaches, lakes and parks are crowded during the summer. But, when we found this fun and unexpected park near Standish we knew we’d found something special. It’s unassuming but easily accessed and completely free! Check out this spot for a few hours of fun in the Maine sun.

There’s no fee to enter Limington Rapids Rest Area and the address is: 1 Ossipee Trail W. in Limington. The hearty explorers can enter these coordinates into theirs GPS: +43 43.977, -70 39.273 to find it!
