Picking apples on a fall day in Maine is what being in Vacationland in October is all about! Most orchards also have farm stands, delicious baked goods and activities for kids on the weekends. But, what we love abut our favorite orchard in Maine is that you can actually enjoy a train ride through the area to make the visit even more fun!

The family run orchard operates their Pick Your Own service seven days a week from 10am to 5pm.

During the week you can enjoy apple picking at their location on Route 11. But to take the train ride, you'll need to wait for the weekend when you can pick all you want at their hilltop location!
